Tower Health is a robust regional integrated healthcare provider/payer system that serves a population of 2.5 million with state-of-the-art, compassionate health care and wellness services.

Our six acute care hospitals and affiliated organizations cover all aspects of patient care, from routine checkups and preventative education to cutting-edge diagnostics, treatments, and even post-operative rehabilitation.

We also provide public health services and wellness initiatives to promote optimal health in the communities we serve.

Tower Health’s doctors and other staff members care deeply about their patients and have extensive training in ensuring their wellbeing and happiness.

Who We Are

Reading Hospital, a teaching hospital in West Reading, Chestnut Hill Hospital, a teaching hospital in Philadelphia, Phoenixville Hospital, a hospital in Phoenixville, a hospital in Pottstown, and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, a partnership between Tower Health and Drexel University, make up Tower Health, which employs more than 14,000 people.

A network of 27 urgent care centers is also part of Tower Health, in addition to the Reading Hospital Rehabilitation in Wyomissing and the Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences in West Reading.

Tower Health has over 230 facilities and a network of over 2,200 doctors, specialists, and other professionals.

Tower Health’s hospitals, providers, administration, and employees can take advantage of system-wide best practices because of their willingness to work together.

Our patients benefit from access to a comprehensive variety of services – all right here in our community.

Tower Health also has a developing collaboration with Drexel University to improve its academic approach.

Together, Drexel University and Tower Health constructed a new medical school campus in Wyomissing, within a mile of Tower Health’s flagship Reading Hospital.

It is estimated that up to 300 future doctors might be educated and trained at the Drexel University College of Medicine at Tower Health.

The specialized treatment provided by our institutions has earned national acclaim, particularly in neurosurgery and stroke, cardiovascular surgery, trauma care, haematology, and oncology.

Opening in October 2016, Reading HealthPlex is one of the area’s most cutting-edge surgery centres and inpatient facilities, thanks to its combination of advanced technology and world-class architecture.

Tower Health has a long history of delivering excellent medical service at reasonable prices to the people it serves. The healthcare sector is constantly evolving, but Tower Health’s “Advancing Health, Transforming Lives” mission is constant.
