An Overview of Stanford Children’s Health

Stanford Children’s Health exclusively provides pediatric and obstetric treatment, making it one of the few such facilities in the United States and the only one in the San Francisco Bay Area.

At over 65 sites, our doctors and medical staff provide a full range of clinical care, from routine checkups to sophisticated disease management.

We are very proud to be included in the exclusive group of 10 children’s hospitals in the United States to be selected for the 2022–23 U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals Honor Roll.

We are the second-best children’s hospital in the Pacific area, a position we have held for the last three years.

This honor validates the dedication of our professors, doctors, and staff to provide patients and their families with the highest possible standard of care.

Because of our close ties to Stanford University and Stanford Health, we have access to some of the most creative minds in the fields of medicine, science, and research.

With Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford as its hub, kids from around the Bay Area can access top-notch medical treatment without having to travel far.
