Rogue Fitness is the largest maker of strength and conditioning equipment in the United States and a significant distributor of high-quality fitness gear and accessories from throughout the nation.
Founded in a suburban Columbus, Ohio garage in 2006, Rogue employs 500 people. While supporting USAW, Rogue also supplies the official equipment for CrossFit Games and Arnold Strongman Classic, demonstrating the company’s commitment to the sport’s continued development. www.roguefitness.com
Rogue Fitness is a brand name for Coulter Ventures, LLC, a gym equipment manufacturer, and distributor located in Columbus, Ohio, the United States.
Strongman and CrossFit boxes and personal fitness equipment for athletes of all levels are all served by the company’s line of weightlifting and fitness-related products.
When Bill Henniger couldn’t obtain the equipment he needed for his new gym, a CrossFit affiliate, he created Rogue.
RogueFitness.com is a one-stop e-commerce shop for CrossFit gyms, where he intends to offer all the essential equipment.
Some clients had to deal with numerous manufacturers and their delivery prices, timetables, and equipment that wasn’t fit for CrossFit when Rogue first started selling other manufacturers’ products via its website.
The corporation began storing equipment and, ultimately, manufacturing some of the equipment itself to fix the problems and speed up delivery.
The corporation depends heavily on domestic and U.S. production to meet customer demand more quickly.
A 460-square-meter structure in Columbus, Ohio, which Henniger also owned, now houses the company’s headquarters.
Rogue expanded its product line and ramped up production. By 2014, it has a production facility of 175,000 square feet (16,300 square meters).
Juha Puonti and Mikko Salo, the 2009 CrossFit Games male winner, started Rogue Europe in Finland in January 2014. For its European consumers, it created a branch in Belgium.
On 30 acres (12 ha) of old Timken Company property, Rogue moved into a 600,000-square-foot (56,000-square-meter) facility in 2018 on the southwest corner of East Fifth and Cleveland avenues in Columbus, Ohio.
The company’s administrative, production, distribution, and retail functions were housed in a single location at the new facility.
Aside from the two gyms, there is also a showroom. In 2018, the company also bought OSO Barbell and Reflex Fitness Products.
A candidate for Inc.’s 2018 Company of the Year was Rogue.
Since its inception in 2014, Rogue Fitness has grown from 200 workers to 600 employees and 850 employees by 2020.
Rogue has been a part of CrossFit from the very beginning of the sport. Rogue is a significant equipment provider for CrossFit clubs all over the globe.
When the CrossFit Games began providing equipment in 2009, it became solely responsible for the Games and regional events in 2010.
The number of semi-trucks needed to transport equipment to the StubHub Center in Carson, California, for the 2013 CrossFit Games has increased from the nine trucks required for the 2011 CrossFit Games.
Rogue is well-known for creating unique items only for the Games. The Rogue Invitational, a significant event for CrossFit competitors, is organized by Rogue.
CrossFit competitors participating in the Invitational get the most prize money outside of the Olympic Games, and it is the only tournament that pays out to all participants, including travel and lodging.
When CrossFit founder Greg Glassman’s contentious remarks in 2020, the corporation momentarily terminated its links with CrossFit but has renewed its affiliation after Glassman departed.
As a result, Rogue now manufactures equipment for sports, including strongman, powerlifting, and Olympic weightlifting.
For the 2017 season, it was chosen to be the official supplier of USA Weightlifting, The Arnold Strongman Classic, and The World’s Strongest Man competitions.
In addition, it invented devices used in contests, such as the “Wheel of Pain” inspired by the film Conan the Barbarian, which was used in the Arnold Classic.
For individuals who want to break weightlifting records, it’s hosted a series of competitions called Rogue Record Breakers since 2015 at festivals like Arnold Sports Classic, and it’s more recently established the Rogue Challenge for athletes in other sports.
The Rogue Invitational also included a strongman competition in 2021. Rich Froning Jr., Ben Smith, Camille Leblanc-Bazinet, Mat Fraser, Katrin Davsdóttir, Jason Khalipa, and Justin Medeiros are just a few CrossFit athletes that the brand supports.
For the first time, a female CrossFit Games winner was one of the first competitors to be sponsored by Caity Matter Henniger. Rogue also hosts strongman athletes like Brian Shaw and Hafr Jlus Björnsson.
In 2020, in response to the COVID-19 epidemic, Rogue began producing medical equipment such as ventilators and personal protection equipment.
During the lockdown, the demand for exercise equipment skyrocketed, and as a result, there was a scarcity.

CABLE TOWER ROGUE CT-1
Precision-built Rogue Cable Tower, which stands 9 feet tall and has a 52.5″ x 60″ footprint, provides a stand-alone column for various cable machine workouts, including rows and curls, tricep pushdowns, and more.
Our Reflex Factory in Milan, Illinois, uses 3×3″ 11-gauge steel and pieces cut at Rogue HQ in Columbus, Ohio, to construct the CT-1 Cable Tower, then painted and completed.
Many of the same components as our Monster Lat Pulldown 2.0 machine are included in the system, including a 6-inch machinable aluminum pulley, adjustable diamond tread footplate, and a bespoke black carabiner.
With the 250 lb weight stack, users may vary the load in 10 lb increments using the 2:1 weight ratio (i.e., with the pin set at 250 LBS, the pull resistance is 125 LBS). There are also protective weight stack shrouds to prevent pinch points.
The knurled stainless steel adjustment lever on the single handle pulley assembly can be rapidly adjusted from high to low depending on the exercise.
It is possible to rotate the swivel up and down without breaking the stainless slide tube since the 2×2 rail has 16 height adjustment options.
The Cable Tower must be anchored down firmly to protect athletes and equipment, and it doesn’t come with any mounting hardware.
Because each item is manufactured to order, there is a 20% restocking charge for all returns in the regular black hue. All custom color purchases are final.
We send the Cable Tower pre-assembled from our factory in Milan, Illinois. Custom metal brackets are incorporated to provide additional protection while the device is shipped freight, affixed to a skid.
